YBB (YelloBellyBastids) put out the Heartbeats album through a small indie label H.E.R. in summer 2007. Heartbeats has not yet gone wood in the hood and so we're making another push to sell these limited CDs off the shelves, out the trunk, and on the net. Help support independent soul-filled music on some Hip Hop lives on Hobart Blvd. type shit bringing that dynamic MC duo vibration back to LA. Highly conceptual content played against a nostalgic-yet-futuristic back drop of intergalacticboombapshit.
While recording the Heartbeats album, I lived next door to the studio where Jimmie lived. We got the YBB project complete in a matter of months on some real determination. Tacos Toluca, .99 water jugs from Jons, blunts, and 3AM MacDoos... about 200 days and 15 pounds later... Heartbeats. Hard work yall.
